UPCOMING EVENTS / ANNOUNCEMENTS:

NEXT WEEK: September 10, 2008 VISITOR’S DAY

On September 10th, a Past District Governor from our neighboring Glen Burnie club, Pat Kasuda, will be making a presentation about a recent trip she took to India. While in India, she visited a number of locations where Rotary projects are underway. India is one of the four countries in the world (also Pakistan, Nigeria and Afghanistan) where polio is still present, and a big focus of the Rotary Polio Plus project. Her presentation should be an inspiration to all Rotarians, because she will show how a single Rotarian,  supported by her club and international partners, have leveraged Rotary Foundation money to make a difference in India.  Pat is dynamic, enthusiastic, and down-to-earth, and you will not regret coming to see her presentation.

DON’T MISS this meeting, and DO bring a potential member!

5K FALL INTO FITNESS

GREETER & DEVOTION /INSPIRATION ROTATION:

As you can see, your President got a little behind on putting together the rotation for Greeter and Devotion/Inspiration each week. By default, I will schedule every member for both slots. If you prefer not to do either, or have specific dates to avoid, please let me know via email (caloren@visibild.com).
