UPCOMING EVENTS /
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
NEXT WEEK: September 10, 2008
VISITOR’S DAY
On September 10th, a
Past District Governor from our
neighboring Glen Burnie club,
Pat Kasuda, will be making a
presentation about a recent trip
she took to India. While in
India, she visited a number of
locations where Rotary projects
are underway. India is one of
the four countries in the world
(also Pakistan, Nigeria and
Afghanistan) where polio is
still present, and a big focus
of the Rotary Polio Plus
project. Her presentation should
be an inspiration to all
Rotarians, because she will show
how a single Rotarian,
supported by her club and
international partners, have
leveraged Rotary Foundation
money to make a difference in
India.
Pat is dynamic, enthusiastic,
and down-to-earth, and you will
not regret coming to see her
presentation.
DON’T MISS this meeting, and DO
bring a potential member!
5K FALL INTO FITNESS
-
Remember: Each member should
try to recruit TWO runners
each, EVERY week!
-
We need LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS
to staff the Rotary Booth
and pass out flyers for the

GREETER & DEVOTION /INSPIRATION
ROTATION:
As you can see, your President
got a little behind on putting
together the rotation for
Greeter and Devotion/Inspiration
each week. By default, I will
schedule every member for both
slots. If you prefer not to do
either, or have specific dates
to avoid, please let me know via
email (caloren@visibild.com).
DISTRICT GOVERNOR’S VISIT –
September 17th, 2008
New District Governor Bette
Lewis will be making her
official visit on September 17th.
Let’s do our best to give her a
big Catonsville Sunrise turnout,
and a warm welcome.
ROTARY FOUNDATION SEMINAR: The
first Rotary District 7620
Foundation Seminar for 2008-2009
will be held in College Park, on
Saturday, September 27, 2008,
8:30 AM -1:30 PM. The
seminar is open to all
interested Rotarians. This is
an opportunity to have any
questions about the Rotary grant
process answered. Please let us
know as soon as possible who
will be attending. Register via
e mail to Denise at
rotary@district7620.org.
