2008
On September 10th, a
Past District Governor from our
neighboring Glen Burnie club,
Pat Kasuda, will be making a
presentation about a recent trip
she took to India. While in
India, she visited a number of
locations where Rotary projects
are underway. India is one of
the four countries in the world
(also Pakistan, Nigeria and
Afghanistan) where polio is
still present, and a big focus
of the Rotary Polio Plus
project. Her presentation should
be an inspiration to all
Rotarians, because she will show
how a single Rotarian,
supported by her club and
international partners, have
leveraged Rotary Foundation
money to make a difference in
India.
Pat is dynamic, enthusiastic,
and down-to-earth, and you will
not regret coming to see her
presentation.
DISTRICT GOVERNOR’S VISIT –
September 17th, 2008
New District Governor Bette
Lewis will be making her
official visit on September 17th.
Let’s do our best to give her a
big Catonsville Sunrise turnout,
and a warm welcome.
